Ceres Films is a video production and post-production company based in Everett, Washington. Headed by Jen McLendon, a graduate of Shoreline Community College, a U.S. Navy veteran, and avid sci-fi fan, Ceres Films is your one stop shop for those small production requirements. Whether its an audition monologue, a demo reel, aerial video, or a wedding, we are here to meet your production needs.
We have many years of experience in the business of video production. We've also spent time inside classrooms both teaching and learning the art of filmmaking.
We take pride in our work using professional cameras, lenses, lights, and audio gear to make top quality content.
With cell phones today, anyone can make a video but not all videos are created equal. We have spent many years studying and practicing the art of filmmaking. We know what works and what doesn’t. We understand what it takes to tell a story with moving pictures. We bring lights, lenses, and audio gear to create and capture moments then piece it all together into a quality production.
It's not about us, it's about you the client, and what your project needs.
We work by putting the client first. We are here to facilitate your production and post-production needs. We are also a group of creatives so if all you’ve got is an idea, we can nurture your concept into fruition. Bring your project to us and we will work together to make your vision a reality.
Telling stories is what we know best.
All of us at Ceres Films love visual storytelling. Watching the latest in film and television is what we do when we’re not making our own content. We want to use the latest and greatest filmmaking tools to tell the best stories possible. For us, it’s not just about entertaining, it’s about moving and informing our audience.
When you start your own production company, you get to choose the name!
Ceres is the name of a dwarf planet located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. As an avid fan of all things celestial, Jen chose the name as a nod to her lifelong obsession with space. In addition, she chose the name because her youngest nephew is also obsessed with space. At the age of 8, he often confuses the moon with Ceres when he sees a picture of either as they look similar.
